General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) is in for a shock when she finally learns what Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) has been keeping from her. Willow still doesn’t know that Michael has secretly been working with Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) to take Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) down.
Michael can act this is about stopping Sonny’s criminal behavior and doing what’s right, but we all know there’s some payback involved.
Sonny stood by Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and hurt Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) as well as many of his other family members in the process.
Michael no doubt wants revenge for that and is focused on seeing this scheme with Dex to the very end.
However, the timing of the Pikeman shipment isn’t great since it’s happening on the same day as Michael and Willow’s wedding.
Could that lead to the nuptials not happening at all – at least not right now? Willow could easily find out Michael’s secret shortly before the ceremony and decide to postpone her marriage.
Although Willow kept quiet about her leukemia diagnosis, that’s because she didn’t want Michael to pressure her to seek treatment too soon. That would’ve put Willow’s baby at risk – and that’s just not something she was willing to do.
Willow wanted to enjoy some peaceful time with her family before it all fell apart and refused to spend that time fighting with Michael.
In other words, Willow’s secret-keeping was about protecting her unborn child and finding some happiness during her struggles.
Michael’s motives were different since he was keeping this secret long before he knew Willow had cancer.
Since Michael knows Willow wants him to patch things up with Sonny, the real reason he hasn’t spilled his revenge plot is because she’d object and try to shut it down.
Willow might even rat Michael out to Sonny, so Michael’s secret is about preserving his shot at going after his father.
What happens when Willow realizes Michael’s willing to send Sonny to prison or worse if this Pikeman deal goes south?
One way or another, Willow’s going to find out what Michael’s been up to all these months.
